The victim, 27-year-old Ryan Rossley of Saratoga Springs, was hit just before 4:30 a.m. on Henry St. Responding officers found Rossley lying in the roadway being assisted by others at the scene.
Rossley was flown to Albany Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, said Saratoga Springs Police Department spokesperson Lt. Gregory Veitch. He was pronounced dead at 5:50 p.m.
Witnesses at the scene said the runaway vehicle may been a dark-colored Nissan Maxima with damage to the side and window, last seen heading south on Henry St.
